This fight has 2 phases.
During phase 1 you can't damage Lady Deathwhisper's life, instead, the damage dealt will drain her mana. She also cannot move during this phase.
In 10 man, the side of the room where adds spawn alternates. In 25 man they spawn from both sides, and one random mob from the stairs.
Phase 2 starts when all her mana is drained. The boss can now be moved around the room.
In 25 man HC, Mind Control targets 3 players instead of 1. In 10 man, 1 player gets MC'd instead of 0.
Phase 2: Lady Deathwhisper is not tauntable. Make sure to taunt right before her shield breaks.
Phase 2: Adds keep spawning. 1 from the entrance of the room in 10 man raid + 3 from one side in 25 man raid.
Phase 2: Vengeful Shades now deal heavy damage to all players nearby if they reach their target.

During Phase 1, the boss cannot move and adds will spawn from the sides of the room.
A common strategy is to stand behind the boss and use the healers' natural threat to make the adds come to your raid.
Tanks will have to take aggro on the adds and position them near the boss to cleave them down.

Curse a random player, increasing their ability cooldowns for 15s.
Decurse the affected players ASAP.
Adherents can shield themselves, reflecting harmful spells back. It also prevents interrupts.
The shield breaks after 50k damage. Melee DPS should focus them down.
A bolt inflicting shadowfrost damage. This can be interrupted.
When shrouded, the adherent casts an empowered bolt, dealing AoE damage to all players within 10 yards.
The fanatic inflicts a disease that absorbs the next 20k heal.
This debuff should be healed.
Fanatics often melee cleave. Don't stand in front.
Tanks should be careful about their positioning.
When empowered the Deformed Fanatic should be kited because of their doubled damage.
They also sometimes cast a buff on themselves, increasing their damage and healing.
It can be purged or mages can spellsteal it. Be ready to remove it!

The boss summons an untargetable Vengeful Shade. It fixates a random player and disappears after a few seconds.
If it melees its target, it will explode dealing a large amount of damage to all the players within 5 yards.
This is lethal, you must kite them! They are hard to spot, especially for melee. Be alert of their spawn!

This debuff should be healed.
