Averzian is trying to claim 3 adjacent spaces on the ground (tic-tac-toe) throughout the fight.

Prevent him from doing so or you will wipe.

This fight has several additional adds that spawn after a space is claimed.

They just spawn around with a "set" of mechanics. Interrupt their cast and AoE them down.

Averzian summons 3 Abyssal Voidshapers who move to 3 random spaces and attempt to claim them by channeling Void Rupture.

These adds take 99% reduced damage until they are hit by Umbral Collapse.

You'll only be able to stop 2 out of the 3. Once a space is claimed, it cannot be taken back.

A player is marked with a large soak circle that everyone should help soak.

Moving this soak on top of an add will remove their 99% damage reduction, allowing you to kill the add before it finishes claiming a spot.

The soak only happens 2 times per set of Abyssal Voidshapers. This is why you can only prevent 2 out of 3 spaces from being claimed each time.
